These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website rentgovlora.com (the “Website”) and the car rental services provided by RentGo Vlora. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your rental.
1. General Information
- 1.1. RentGo Vlora is a local car rental provider based in Vlora, Albania.
- 1.2. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by our staff.
- 1.3. By using our services, you confirm that you meet the driver and age requirements described in these Terms.
2. Booking and Payment
- 2.1. Reservations can be made via our Website, email, phone, or messaging apps.
- 2.2. We operate with Car Rental Vlora No Deposit, No Credit Card conditions for selected vehicles. Payment can be made by debit card or cash on arrival.
- 2.3. Prices include local VAT, standard mileage allowance, and basic insurance as required by Albanian law, unless stated otherwise.
- 2.4. Optional extras such as child seats, additional drivers, or full cover insurance may be added at an extra daily cost.
3. Driver Requirements
- 3.1. Drivers must be at least 21-25 years old depending on the vehicle category.
- 3.2. A valid driving license must be presented at pickup. Non-EU licenses may require an International Driving Permit (IDP).
- 3.3. Drivers must have held a valid license for at least 1-3 years depending on the vehicle category.
- 3.4. Additional drivers must be declared during booking and may be subject to a daily fee.
4. Insurance and Liability
- 4.1. All rentals include basic third-party liability insurance in accordance with Albanian law.
- 4.2. Full cover insurance may be purchased to reduce or eliminate financial responsibility for damage, subject to policy terms.
- 4.3. Insurance does not cover negligence, driving under the influence, use on unpaved roads where restricted, or unauthorized drivers.
- 4.4. Damage to tires, glass, underbody, or interior may not be included in basic coverage. Please check details during booking.
5. Vehicle Use
- 5.1. Vehicles must be used in accordance with Albanian traffic laws.
- 5.2. Vehicles must not be taken outside Albania unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- 5.3. Smoking and transporting pets inside the vehicle is allowed only if agreed in advance.
- 5.4. The renter is responsible for any fines, penalties, parking tickets, or towing costs during the rental period.
6. Fuel and Mileage
- 6.1. The standard fuel policy is “same-to-same” meaning the vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level as received.
- 6.2. Mileage terms will be stated in the rental agreement. Exceeding agreed limits may result in additional charges.
7. Pickup and Return
- 7.1. Pickup and return locations include Vlora city center, Lungomare area, hotels, and agreed delivery points.
- 7.2. Vehicles must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location. Late returns may result in additional charges.
- 7.3. The renter must return the vehicle in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear.
8. Cancellations and Modifications
- 8.1. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pickup are usually free of charge.
- 8.2. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.
- 8.3. Changes to booking details such as dates, vehicle type, or extras are subject to availability and may affect the rental price.
9. Responsibility and Limitations
- 9.1. RentGo Vlora is not liable for indirect losses, missed connections, or travel disruptions caused by accidents, delays, or circumstances beyond our control.
- 9.2. Roadside assistance contact details are provided at pickup. In case of accident or breakdown, the renter must contact us immediately.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Albania.
